Episode 47 | Arild Stavrum

Derek chats to former Aberdeen favourite turned author Arild Stavrum for a look back at his career in the game.

Now residing back in his native Norway, Arild chats about growing up in the tiny village of Kristiansund which has produced world class talent such as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whom he played with during his career. 

He describes his time spent at Molde, Helsingborgs and his stint at Pittodrie where he played in two cup finals.

Arild also talks about his Turkish experience when he played for Besiktas and his love of writing which has seen him publish several books.
